If you have the opportunity to purchase lumber in the coming weeks you should do so. Prices are edging up and mill closures will only intensify price increases.
An example of dramatic price increases can be found in 2x6x20 #2 SYP. Just a few weeks ago I could purchase of truck for $210/m; today that same load has increased to $271/m
